CHRISTMAS spent in these lands of fertility and beauty under the Southern Cross, is the time of glowing sunshine, blue and cloudless skies, luxuriant and richly coloured flowers, abundant and luscious fruits. Though most of the people living in prosperous New Zealand are quite able to provide for their own temporal needs, yet there are a few to be found in our larger towns and amongst the natives elsewhere, who will appreciate the kind thought of those willing to provide the wherewithal to add a few unusual luxuries at the festive season, and to aid in providing special pleasures for their
children.
