CONVENTION TRAVELLING EXPENSES.
At our las. New Zealand Convention the following resolution was passed by 32 votes against 9 :
“ That this Convention recommends for the adoption of all members of Convention this scheme whereby all fares to Convention he equalised, and to take effect next year.” I herewith send an approximate list of all / > >ssihl< » Delegates, although it is scarcely probable that all will attend.
Delegates are allowed saloon steamer fare and second-class railway fare with cost of meals on the journey ; must travel to Convention by shortest route. To get the average add the actual cost and divide by the number of Delegates. Of course you understand that this will not he the actual average cost of travel, only to show the Delegates how the scheme is worked.
