Our Illustration.

The picture on our front page is of a face which is familiar to most meml>ers of the W.C.T.U. in this colony. For a number of years Miss Powell has been the Corresponding Secretary of our New Zealand Union, and has performed her duties with great energy and enthusiasm. Into the work of preparing for the recent Licensing Elections she threw herself with great ardour, and in several districts, but more especially the Kaiapoi Electorate, she did effective work. During the recent sessions of Convention Miss Powell took her departure for England, where she will represent the New Zealand W.C.T.U. at the World’s Convention, which is to I* held in Edinburgh in the month of June.
