(Whetukura)— Mr Fendall. • Ormondville— Every Sunday at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Holy Communion on Ist Sunday m the month and when notice is given. Makotuku— Holy Communion at 11 a.m. on 2nd Sunday m the month, and service every Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Norsewood— Holy Communion sth Sunday m the month at 9 a.m. Services 2nd Sunday at U. 30 p.m., and 4th at 7 p.m. Mrs Callinder, who has for many years ' taken an active part m all church work here and especially Jn the Sunday school, has lately left us to reside m Masterton. Before she left she was presented with a ; well-filled purse as a token of the affection and esteem of the children of the Sunday school, their parents, and other friends. . ''' - ' , , The church at Norsewood has. also lost a faithful attendant m Mr James Gray, who has gone to Hastings. On July lOth five of the Vestry and the Vicar met at the. Church m order to prepare the ground for a hedge which is shortly to be. planted. Good progress was made, and it is hoped that before very long the surroundings of the church will be much improved m appearance.
