Resignation of Miss M. Hall

- After a life service of ove,r 40; years given to Hukarere College; Miss M. Hall has. resigned as principal.. At Synod tributes were paid to Miss Hall's services which would leave a lasting impression of devotion upon the girls who have passed through the College. Voicing feelirigs of gratitude of the Maori race and of the Church m general of Miss Hall's life work at the College the Rev. Puka said that her place would be hard to fill. She knew the Maori mind and she loved .the girls. Miss Hall's work for the upliftmentof the Maori girls not only morally and physically, but above all. spiritually, would long be remembered.

The Rev; J. Tamahori said that the great work of the pioneers had been carried on by Miss Hall who had been a great influence for the Church of God. < ' ■"'
