DIOCESAN AND GENERAL.
The Editor regrets that m publishing the "aid to self-examination" m the last issue, he inadvertently omitted to state that it was taken from the booklet "Yourself," written by the Vicar of Opotiki. Synod will meet this year on Thursday, October 14th. Canon Rice, who, unhappily; had to spend some weeks m the Waipukurau Hospital, has recovered sufficiently to return home. The Editor has received a reply to Mr Salt's letter m the last issue, but as, unhappily, it is not accompanied by the name of the writer, it cannot be published.
