AN EMINENT VISITOR.

Advice has been received by the Representative m New Zealand of the School of English Church Music, of the proposed visit to New Zealand m. November of Dr. Sydney Nicholson, Founder and Director of the School of English Church Music. Dr. Nicholson hopes to visit affiliated choirs m South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and U.S.A., and his tour is largely the result of repeated requests from the Australian Church Music Commission which is arranging a series of lectures and choir courses of study to be conducted personally by Dr. Nicholson. During his stay m New Zealand, Dr. Nicholson hopes to visit the three affiliated choirs, namely, St. Michael and AH Angels, and St. Mary, Merrivale, both of Christchurch, and St. Mark's, Te Aroha, and also to lecture m the centres to gatherings of choirs and clergy. — Waikato Diocesan Magazine.
