(The Rev. J. Pigott.) Ait the annual meeting, held on April 16, there was shown a debit balance of £44. New officers: — Vicar's Warden, Mr Duncan Maclean; people's, Mr Edward Macfarlane. Vestry: Messrs E. Jull (hon. secretary and treasurer), A. Jull, J. Riddles, G. Taylor, F. Mitchell, H. Rathbone. Duplex secretary, Mr Duncan Maclean; Synodsman, Mr Loten; Cemetery Trustee, Mr T. Carson; Auditor, Mr H. Collett. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Swain, who offered to act as voluntary organist during the present year. At a subsequent meeting of the Vestry drastic retrenchment was pro-
posed by the Vicar, but an amendment was carried providing for a review of the position m six months' time. Congregations at Onga Onga and at the early Communion a,t Waipawa show a marked improvement; the number of Easter Communicants (135) being a record for the parish. The departure for England of % Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and family is referred to with deep regret. Mrs Anderson, late president of the Mothers' Union, was presented with a travelling cushion by the members.
