PRAYER FOR THE SICK.
O Great. Eternal and Invisible God, send Thy Holy Spirit to move with power and love amid all- those who are sick. Bless all the efforts of doctors and nurses for the alleviation of pain. Keep from assault of evil those who lie sleepless and m pain through the long hours of the night ; and help them to remember that Thou art very near to them. Give oourag-e and faith to those
about to undergo operations, and when they go dow ; n into unconsciousness grant that underneath them they may feel Thy everJasting arms. Through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
