Vicar; The Rev. Canon Rice, M.A. A beautiful marble font from Italy lias been presented to the new church by Mrs I. W.N, Mackie "m memory of dear ones from Arlington," and a large new bell by Mrs J. Winlove and sons m memory of John Winlove. They were dedicated on Nov. 16th. The old bell is quite a good one, and we are ready to sell it for £5. The couple ibo receive the Family Bible because theirs was the first marriage m the new church were two young communicants, John Charles Ferry and Muriel Agnes Walker. The first bapitism was that of Peter James Steere, to whom a Prayer Book was presented. On Nov. 12th Mrs J. Hobson eaiterifcained the membea-s .of tjhe Mothers' Union m her beautiful garden at Hatuma, to which 35 members were taken m private cars. It was a jolly afternoon. On Nov. 19th, the Mothers' Union organised a, Garden Party at the Vicarage, everyone bringing a gift for S. Mary's Home. It was a huge success ; about 100 people came, and were entertained /with a miniature golf course, croquet, fiog hunt, ringing the peg,
and afternoon tea. A splendid lot of groceries, etc., were sent to the Home; A healing service. was held on Nov. 21st; A day of: prayer, for Missions is ; to be held on Tuesday, Dec, 2nd;
