Vicar: The Rev. J. Pigott. The iSunday School re-opened on February 2nd and classes were arranged for the year. Miss Swain has taken charge of the Kindergarten Department with Miss Willie Hirst as pianist and Beryl Weston, Jean Phillips, Doris Watson and Doris Talbot as assistants. Miss Gray, Mr. Roy Williams and Mr. Ken. MacGregor take the classes m the Senior Room. A Bible Class for senior girls is held now on Sunday afternoon as well as for senior boys. Much disappoitment was felt over the excursion which was to have been held on February 16th, but the weather was too bad. Another attempt is to be made to reach the beach at Purere on March Ist. Special mid-week cervices with special course of addresses are being held on Wednesday evenings m Lent at 7 p.m. instead of the usual Tuesday evening Intercession Service. It is hoped that parishioners will make a real effort to attend, these services. AWbotsford Home had a visit from the Vicar and Sunday School of Woodville on February 15th. About seventy all told made the trip to St. Hilda's m the morning, reaching Abbotsford about 2.30 (p.m. It was unfortunate that the day turned out so wet.
