RUATOKI.
Nurse Jones who has been m charge of the Euatoki Mission since the death of Miss Hare, has found it necessary to send m her resignation by order of her medical adviser. The climate of Euatoki has been too damp for her and she' has been ordered to a drier climate. We very much regret the necessity for Miss Jones' resignation, as she has been able to win her way into the hearts of the Tuhoe people, adults and children, by her skill as a nurse, her influence as a mission worker, and her splendid tact m all her dealings with the Maori people m and around Euatoki. We m Hawke's Bay are hoping very limch that Nurse Jon,es will be able to help us m connection with our Maori work m this district. Unfortunately the Maori Mission m Hawke's Bay has no further funds to open up new work, but we aiv hoping that other avenues of work may be opened up. More anon!
