PUKETAPU.

After nearly a year of. waiting;, we have at last been' fortunate m procuring a very beautiful fadeless violet tapestry for.our Lenten hangings m the parish Church. On Good Friday, evensong." was taken by Rev < Canon Maclean. It was a very impressive service and one was glad that •so maiiy of our fairly distant parishioners had man-' aged to come. ■ „ On Easter Day wo had record services m all the Churches of the parish. All three Churches wore beautifully decora! od. ' ■

During the coming month we shall greatly m,:ss Mrs. T. H. Lowry, who, with members of her family, has left for England. Just before she left, she organised a most successful concert and social m aid of the Maori Church at Omaim. Our best wishes follow her.
