Abbotsford Home has been haying a bad time. Eighteen of the • children as well as Miss Ruddock have had Germane measles and are m isolation. We hope the remainder of the children and Sister Elsie will escape infection. The "Waipawa County. Club members intend to distribute gifts to the children, as well as to those at St. Hilda's, on Christmas Eve. Old St Nicholas will be there with his attendants. The Vicar will be exchanging duties with the Rev. C. G. Salt, of Mangere, for most of the month of January. The Girl Guides and Brownies will not meet during January. : Everything is ready for inaugurating the Duplex System, but the necessary organisation will have to wait till after the holidays. It is hoped to have the system m full working order by Easter.
