The new Church Building Fund has now reached £1261 m casli and promises, besides the £920 which we can use from our parish endowment. Mr W. P. Finch, of Napier, has been appointed the architect. The (Sunday School concert, organised by Mrs Rice on December 11th, was a great success, and a good sum was raised for kindergarten equipr ment. The prizes, about 80 of them, were presented on the same evening. The Sunday School picnic took place at Mt. Herbert Bush on the baulks of the yfa.ev on December 19th, a perfect day. It was a great success m every way. A day of continuous intercession for Missions was held on Friday, November 27th, and a good number took part. The Holy Sacrifice was pleaded twice and with litanies, children's service and Evensong, and people m church all the time, the day was an inspiration, as well as a help to the great missionary cause.
