Diocesan Synod.
Synod opens at 2.30 p.m. oh Friday, September 12t3i. The following arrangements have been made for Services and Conferences during Synod:— Friday, Sepfjem&er 12th.— Holy Communion, 7.15' a.m. ; Mattins, 9.30 a.m.; Choral Eucharist, 10.30 a.m.; Evensong, 7.45 p.m. .Sunday, September 14th. — Holy Communion, 8 a.m.; Mattins (plain), 10 'a.m.; Choral Eucharist (with sermon), 11 a.m. (preacher, Rev. H. W. Klingender) ; Evensong, ' 7 p.m. (preacher, the Bishop). The : clergy are requested to robe for the Choral Eucharists on Friday and Sunday and for Evensong on Sunday. All members of Synod are requested to be present at the 11 a.m. Celebration on Sunday. Daily Services will be held during Synod. week as follows: Holy Communion, 7.15 a.m. ; Mattins, 9.30 a.m. ; Evensong 7.45 p.m. . Conferences: Clergy, 10 a.m. on Monday. Lay members, 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Maori clergy and lay members, 10 a.m. on Wednesday. .
