Rush, architect, had prepared plans for a concrete building; with tile roof which he estimated could be built for £600. r . There is cash m hand £410 lls 2d, and promises £137 10s; total, £54J8. Lowest tender was from H. H. Campbell and Sons, Hastings, £762 (less value of window donated by the Vestry of St. John's, Danneyirke), £77 10s.
