0 Lbr.d GocV who ' knowest the hearts of men, guide with Thy heavenly Wisdom those, to whom, is entrusted the election of members of . Parliament for tins. Dominion, that, mindful of 'their responsibility m the^ sacred duty which is laid upon them, ' ' they N may cast their votes with true judgment and. honesty for the election of just and upright in£n, and for the welfare of this people and the advancement of Thy Kingdom: through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ATTER THE ELECTION. Almighty God, who, rulest m Heaven and earth, direct, w&, beseech Thee, the hearts and minds of those who have been called to be legislators m this Dominion. Grant them a true • sense of their responsibility, and a zeal for .truth and justice to all. T&ke from them all prejudice, selfishness and worldly, ambition, that, faithfully fulfilling their duties m all uprightness and honesty, they may - enact .such .laws as will serve best to preserve liberty, and internal peace among us, ., and to set forward Thy Kingdoni of Righteousness among men.
