THE REV. L. DAWSON THOMAS

(Late of Gisborne Parish). - (To the Editor). Sir, —No doubt many of the friends of the Eev. L. D. Thomas and his ■ wife would be-glad to hear of their doings. They are now at Tenterfield m N,S.W., on account of Mrs Thomas' ill-health. After helping to nurse sick soldiers, Mrs Thomas had a severe breakdown and was only getting strong again when she 'was suddenly called to her mother's bedside who had undergone a severe operation m Sydney. )- " About the same time Mr Thomas was called to his father who died at the ripe age of 90 years, loved and honored by all who knew him. As they pass through the valley of trouble, I am sure they have' the heartfelt sympathy of those knew them as' pastor and friend." v • I remain, Yours faithfully, C.F.P., Napier.
