Waipawa.
Vicar: Rev. M. W. Butterfield, 8.A., B.D. The Vicar desires to express his thanks for the car that has been provided for his use, together with its upkeep. The car will enable him to negotiate his long journeys much more satisfactorily and comfortably and to make up a good deal of leeway m pastoral visitation. Local committees are being formed m the various outlying centres to deal with local Church matters. A Parochial Missionary Guild with branches m the main outside centres is to be formed very soon to organise our missionary work m a more methodical manner. The Kindergarten Sunday School at Waipawa is to be opened as soon as warmer weather comes, and suitable' arrangements can be made. Theschool will be worked as a junior department of the present Sunday School. Names of intending candidates for Confirmation should be sent m at once. The Onga Onga candidates at the last Confirmation have provided a complete; set of altar linen and a pair of cruets as a thank offering. The Waipawa candidates' thank offering has not yet been all expended, but a pair of cruets has been provided out of it for St. Peter's Church.
