Thanksgiving.
Let us give God thanks — ' For the unity of the Empire, and the Spirit of patriotism. For those who have offered for the service of the Empire. For parents who have willingly offered their sons. For the generous gifts of our people. For courage manifested by our soldiers and sailors m battle. For victories vouchsafed to our forces by land and sea. O Almighty God, the Sovereign Commander of all the world, m whose hand is power and might, which none is able to withstand ; we bless and magnify Thy great and glorious Name for victories vouchsafed, the whole glory whereof we do ascribe to Thee, Who art the only piver of victory. And, we beseech Thee, give us such a sense of Thy great mercy, as raav appear im our lives by an humble, holy, a;id obedient walking before Thee all our days, through Jesus Christ our Lord : to Whom with Thee and the Holy Spirit, be all glory pud honour, world without end. Amen.
