Vicar: Rev. H. ColUer. The Harvest Thanksgiving Serviceswere held on Quinquagesima Sunday, when the Vicar of Ormondvillei kindly preached the harvest sermons. The Services were bright and hearty and. were well attended. The Choir rendered their part with credit. The Rev. F. W. Martin kindly preached on the first and second Sundays m Lent, his kindly help being v;ery much appreciated both by the parishioners and the Vicar. The Yen. Archdeacon Neild gave am address on the work of the Melanesian Mission, m the Church on the evening of March 4th. It was disappointing to see so few present, but those who made the effort to be present were well repaid for their trouble. It is sincerely to be hoped* that we may speedily become a Missionary hearted district. ASHLEY-CLINTON. The Harvest Festival was held in' the public hall on Sexagesima Sunday, when a large congregation assembled. The special preacher for the occasion was the Rev. F. W.. Martin, who was also Celebrant. Theparishioners were very pleased to seetheir former Vicar once, more and we^ all hope to have the pleasure of future visits from Mr Martin. The Vicar intends holding a Children's Service m the public hall on Good Friday afternoon, and hopes to* see a number of the parents and: friends of the children present at the service. MARRIAGE.
