Vicar : R€v. F. W. Whibley. Our annual meeting was deferred until September on account of sickness, and was held m the Vicarage. The accounts presented showed a credit balance of £6 9s. lOd. Mr. VV. H. Small, who was elected to serve as Auditor for. this year, having left the district, Mr. George Mabbett was empowered by the Vestry to audit, and was also elected to serve next year. The outgoing Vestry was re-elected. During the year the interior of the Church has been much improved m appearance, and
we have to thank many of our friends for their goodness m assisting to "beautify the place of the Sanctuary, particularly the "Scattered Working Party,'' i.c. t a number of ladies m England who meef together to work for Colonial Churches; and really their needlework is superb. They supplied an Altar frontal and hangings for Lectern and Reading Desks. A handsome pile carpet, has also been given for the Sanctuary and hangings for the East wa11. ... Mrs. Tansley, of Dannevirke; worked two alms bags, presenting one for th'e use of All Saints' Church, the other for country services. Three of the Misses Crosse, of Kelvin Grove, Weber, each worked a book-marker for the Lectern and Holy Table/ BAPITSMo., At Mangatoro—Dova. Timins. At Waitahqra— Thomas Philip Blyth.
