Almighty God, the Giver of every good gift, who hast appointed divers orders m Thy Church, look mercifully upon Thy servant, whom of Thy Divine Providence Thou hast called to the high and holy office of Bishop, and vouchsafe to him, we beseech Thee, those gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit which may enable him faithfully to discharge with humility, courage, and grace, the great trust about to be committed to him, and this we pray for Jesus Christ's sake, Thy Son our Lord. Amen.
