A Prayer for the Parish.
0 ALMIGHTY GOD, send Thy blessing on this Parish and grant unto it all things needful for its spiritual welfare — schools wherein the children may be brought up m Thy faith and fear, ministers to labour m this portion of Thy vineyard ; a Church exalted to the beauty of holiness. Confirm and strengthen the faithful ; visit and relieve the sick ; care for the poor ; comfort the dying. Raise up the fallen ; restore the penitent ; strengthen the weak ; arouse the careless ; turn and soften the wicked. Remove all hindrances to the advancement of Thy truth, and bring all to be of one heart and mind within the fold of Thy Holy Church, to the honour and glory of Thy name, through Jesu.B Christ, our Lord, — Amen.
