Waipiro Bay.
Vicar: Rev. G. D. Wilson A change of Vicars will have taken place when this issue reaches our readers, the Rev. F. C. Long having left to take up mission work m India, and the Rev. G. D. Wilson having arrived to take charge of the district. The Bishop has decided to divide the distriot as soon as possible, placing a new man at Tuparoa, aud letting him have charge of the northern end. This division is urgently required, both on account of the land now being taken up around Hick's Bay and Whangaparaoa, and on account of the rapid growth of Tokomaru Bay owing to the presence of the Freezing Works. Before looking for a man to take up the new sphere, the Bishop will naturally expect the district to bn prepared to find the necesssary money. Your retiring Vicar trusts that every man m the district will be prepared to give what he can. He also asks for a hearty welcome to the incoming Vicar, and wishes him Godspeed aud every blessing.
