The following resolution was passed: “That the attention of the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute be directed to the importance, in the interests of science, of Mr. Atkinson's criticism of Mr. Tregear's Maori-Polynesian Dictionary, and that the Board be asked to publish it in the Transactions of the Institute.” Sixth Meeting: 5th November, 1894.
