Resolved: (1.) That, as no work dealing with the systematic botany of New Zealand is now available at a reasonable price, this Institute brings under the notice of the New Zealand Institute the desirability of urging the Government to undertake as early as possible the publication of a “Flora of New Zealand.” (2.) That the other affiliated branches of the New Zealand Institute be asked to co-operate in this matter. (3.) That the Secretary also be requested to bring the matter directly under the notice of the Government. Exhibits.—A specimen of Drew's perch, and a bird's skeleton prepared for teaching purposes, by Professor Parker.
