The Treasurer's report showed a balance in favour of the Society of £7 3s. 2d. The Secretary's report, which included a retrospect of the various ordinary and Council meetings held during the past year, gave also a full report of the working of the School of Mines in connection with the Society. The Curator's report showed that a very considerable number of specimens (chiefly mineralogical) had been added to the Museum during the past year, and chiefly at the hands of Mr. H. P. Washbourne.
