Mr Uerangi Tihirahi Mr Uerangi Tihirahi, a widely respected elder of Turangawaewae, died last June at Turangawaewae, at the age of 78. Mr Tihirahi, who is survived by his wife, gave many years of devoted service to the King Movement. Under King Mahuta he helped with the formation of the brass band at Turangawaewae, and continued his interest in the band and its members under King Koroki.
