OPEN UP YOUR EYES
In reply to ‘Bitter’, Kerikeri.
While I’m not really interested in entering into a debate about the programming of the Coca-Cola Video Hits new release show, I would like to make a few points. The show, by it’s very nature, makes it impossible to please all people all the time. You, however, obviously haven’t been watching enough; Pumpkinhead, Garageland,. Superette and numerous other bands ‘to your liking’ have played on Coca-Cola Video Hits, each on more than one occasion. Just for the record, the Beatles’ ‘Help’ video was new by virtue of the fact it was previously unreleased. Sales of Anthology 2 would suggest some people wanted to see it. It’s my job to reflect the tastes of the nation — not dictate them.
Kathryn Quirk (Producer), CocaCola Video Hits, Auckland.
