Classification of Industries
Building Partially Essential Since our editorial upon essential industries was written, the National Efficiency Board has issued, with the Government’s approval, a list of industries classified: “Class C., Partially Essential.” In this class men will be retained whose removal may imperil the successful maintenance of the industry or occupation. Included in the list are: Building and contracting, lime and cement works, plumbing, sawmilling, and timber felling for military purposes.
