THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE administers Intestates Estates* Lunatics’ Estates, and Unclaimed Lands LOANS The Public Trustee has ample funds for Investment on First Mortgage of Freehold' and certain Government Leasehold Securities, at lowest current rates of interest Liberal terms for repayment. . Loans are granted on flat mortgage for a fixed term, or on the instalment system for various periods under which each half-yearly repayment consists of principal and interest actuarily computed so that at the end of the period the whole loan is paid off. To encourage thrift, loans are also granted for fixed terms on a modified instalment system under which a small part of the principal is repaid with each half-yearly payment of interest so that at the end of the period the principal has been reduced. No procuration fee or commission is charged on a loan, and, to avoid them, applicants should apply directly to the Head Office, or to any District Manager or Agent when application forms will be supplied and, if desired, filled up. OFFICE CHARGES The Charges of Administration are fixed on the lowest possible scale as the Office is not run for profit but seeks to be merely self-supporting. ’ There is a well equipped legal staff, which does without cost, nearly all the legal work connected with estimates.
