Riverton School.
The loss of the school by fire (in June. 1908) has been now forgotten, for a newschool, erected at a cost of £3500, was opened during the month. The building is of brick, and is surrounded by an extensive playground. It has been carried out from plans prepared by Mr. "W. A. McCaw, the Board's architect, and that gentleman is to be congratulated on supplying for Riverton a building not only eminently suited to the requirements of the district, but of handsome design, without costly adornments.
