overlook the town of Gisborne, and harbour Flat ground being limited, the house -was planned accordingly, as the ground plan sho^s. The build-

ing is of timber. Casement sashes, made of Oregon pine, have been used throughout, the ones on the first floor and the fanlights being glazed vuth

leaded lights. The walls of hall are panelled to a height of 7 ft. 6 in. from the floor, the upper portion being finished with an art paper. The dining room is finished with jarrah timber, including beams of

ceiling, mantel, and panelling. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, dressing room, bathroom, linen cupboards, etc. Architect, P H Graham ; contractors, Mackrell and Colley.
