NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS, 1907-1908.

Holiday Excursion tickets, available for return until 16th February, 1908, will be obtainable from any station to any station on the Wellington-Napier-New Plymouth Section (except where ordinary fares are less) from 16th December, 1907, to 2nd January, 1908. These tickets are available for break of journey at any station at which the train is timed to stop over 25 miles from issuing station. From 20th December, to 2nd January, inclusive (25th December and Sundays excepted) extra mail trains will run as follows : UP. — Te Aro dep. 8.53 a.m., Wellington 9.5 a.m., Napier arr. 7.30 p.m., running 40 minutes AFTER ordinary mail train, making same stops, and, in addition, stopping at Petone to take up passengers for stopping stations north of Upper Hutt. DOWN. — Napier dep. 7.45 a.m., Wellington arr. 6.25 p.m., Te Aro 6.37 p.m., running one hour AHEAD of ordinary mail, and making usual mail train stops. The ordinary down mail on these dates will not stop for passengers at any station between Woodville and Masterton except at Pahiatua and Eketahuna. ON Ist JANUARY a train will leave Te Aro for Featherston at 6.45 a.m., Wellington 7 a.m. THIS TRAIN WILL TAKE PASSENGERS FOR FEATHERSTON ONLY. Return trains leave Featherston 6 25, 7.55 p.m. The up mail trains (Te Aro dep. 8.0 and 8.53 a.m.) WILL NOT TAKE PASSENGERS TO UPPER HUTT. The down mail trains (Upper Hutt dep. 5.30 and 6.21 p.m.) WILL NOT TAKE PASSENGERS FROM UPPER HUTT. Goods traffic will be suspended on Ist January. For full particulars see posters and handbills.
