A New Firm.

Among the latest firms to be attracted by the importance of Chnstchrrch as a motoring centre is the Motor Import Company, who have just opened commodious premises m Hereford street, within a stones-throw of Cathedral Square. We understand that the Company have completed arrangements which enable them to import any make of car at prices which compare most favourably with those at present in vogue. The indenting of cars when carried out by a firm such as the Motor Import Company, who make a specialty of it, and have the expert knowledge and necessary facilities to safeguard their customers' interests and deliver their cars to them tuned up to concert pitch, should certainly prove both satisfactory and economical, whilst the fact of the firm's ability to secure any make of car, certainly places them in a unique position for giving disinterested advice to motorists, or prospective motorists In addition to indenting cars, the Company will carry a large and varied stock of accessories and spare parts, ha\ rag secured the scle agency for the Dominion of a number of exceptionally fine lines, particulars of some of which we hope to give in future issues Ihe Company have also made special arrangements with Mr Newnham to run a body-building department m conjunction with their works so as to enable their customers to secure the fullest advantage of the saving which can be effected both on carnage and duty by importing the chassis and fitting the body out here A further advantage of this arrangement will be that m the case of any cars sent in for overhaul, work can be proceeded with simultaneously upon both carriage work and machinery, so practically halving the time which would be required iei c the car were sent first to an engineer's and then to a coachbuilder's establishment.
