Motor-Car Hire Profits.
Coventry Town Council have just decided to expend a further sum of for the purchase of electric motor cars, to be let out on hire. The previous investment of for similar purposes is earning about 1 2 per cent, interest by the hire of the motors, while the interest and sinking fund expenses represent a charge of only 6 per cent.
The total value of the exhibits at the Motor Car Show at the Crystal Palace exceeds and comprises a 100-h.p. racing car built specially for Queen Marghenta of Italy, and the 200-h.p. Darracq on which Hemery recently secured the world's record.
