PROPERTY POUND, STOLEN OR LOST.
Stolen on board the schooner Sarah Pile, while on her passage from Sydney to Dunedin, an English . gold f plate lever watch, white dial, T.D. engraved on case, E. Bateman maker, a gold guard chain (chain: pattern),, a ; plain gold ring, 2 gold keys, red stone set in one, 1 gold seal set with black stone, attached; identifiable.. This property was handed over ;by Thomas Dick, a passenger, for safe keeping during- the voyage, to the Captain, who on arriving at Port Chalmers on the Bth June, informed the owner that his property had been stolen.
Stolen while in transit from Melbourne to Dunedin, per steamer Albion , 5 pairs elastic side boots, toe capped, brass eye-
lets, double soles, with screws near-waist and' in heels ; . also 3 suits dark ■ mixture ribbed doeskin. These goods were taken from-the cases during the voyage. Also the - following goods were .stolen from cases on board the lighter Moa, forwarded for shipment on board the steamer Otago :1 pair boy’s trousers, No. 16771 ; • 3 ; pairs boy’s trousers, • No. 03038 ; 1 pair dark bedford- trousers, No. 12184 10 vests; 2 pairs tweed trousers.; 1 -Inverness cape; - and 18 Crimean shirts. The 1 above -goods are the property of Messrs. Sargood, King, and Sargood.
