MISSING FRIENDS.
Missing from his tent at Hamilton, since the 14th January, 1864, John Bruce, 30 years old, 5 feet 3 inches high, dark complexion, dark whiskers and moustache worn full; dressed in brown woollen shirt, moleskin trousers, plush hat, and new watertight boots.
Inquiry is made for Mr. Hamilton 4 achell, late of Ilorseleydown, Southwark, in the county of Surrey, England,, who . will, on communication with Mr. T. C. Soulsby, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, hear of something much to his advantage.
Left bis home, Pine Hill, Water of Leith, at 10 a.m. the loth instant, and has not . since been heard of, George Scotney 35 years old, stout build, 5 Let 8 inches high, lair completion, red hair, and whiskers worn ail round the chin, no moustache; dressed in dial) cloth trousers, striped calico shirt, grey cap with peak, ,no shoes or ; stockings; had been drinking freely during the week.
, Information: is requested by the friends of William Morant of i his present whereabouts. He is described 5 feet 10£ or 11 inches-high, florid complexion, dark hair slightly bald, dark whiskers, blue eyes.
