ROBBERY UNDER ARMS.

On the 17th instant the five men described below entered Love’s Hotel, situate about six miles from the Hogt.urn, armed; they first stuck up the. waiter,' tied his handsand - put him on .to a bed.requesting him to be quiet as they did not wish to injure him, they then masked and stuck up the following persons, severally covering them with their fire arms and robbing them. James McDonald from whom they took two £5 notes, and four <£l notes; from John Peters one £5 note, and one half-sovereign; from Christopher Woodney, eleven £1 notes, one sovereign, two halfsovereigns and 50 shillings in silver ; from David Drysdale, one grey mare, since recovered, jewel ery and cheques they would not take. They stated to the persons robbed they were not the parties they wanted, and should the right ones come in they would return them their momy.
