r lst \Jl'| ornas McKay is charged, on warrant *™ m Wellington, with unlawfully selling one Gun to an Aboriginal. He is 20 years of age ; o ft 5 in. high; brown hair; small whiskers, miiino ; sallow complexion ; rather flash in his manner. Was formerly in the employ of Mr. Moor ho use, Auctioneer, Dunedin' Supposed to have returned to Wellington. W

2nd. Frederick Lindsey Flint is charged, on wariant from Victoria, with having, on the •23rd day, of September, 1861, at Richmond, in the colony of Victoria,; unlaw.ully deserted his three children, Frederick, Emma, and Thomas Flint, leaving them without lawful met ns of support; is supposed to have come as Cuddy Steward on board the “ Result, ! to Otago. He is 26 years of age; 5 ft. 7 in. high; thick , set, and sailor-like build ; well made ; light, hair and ,of Jockey appearance ; large reddish beard and moustache; the removal of the latter would display a deep cut on the side of upper lip.

W. G. Trask, is charged, on warrant nowin the Commissioner's Office, Dunedin, with Forgery. The offender was a Butcher at Christchurch, Canterbury, and is at present supposed: to be at Tuapuka. He is about 26 years of age ; 5 ft. 6 in. in height; dark curly hair; fresh complexion rather stout build.

Edward Parkinson is charged, on warrant from Victoria, with having deserted his illegitimate child. He is 5 ft. 9 or 10 in. high ; fresh complexion ; light brown hair ; 24 years of age ; full features; stout build; an Irishman ; wore a slate-coloured freize coat, and blue cloth cap. Supposed to be at either of the Diggings,

Stolen on the night of the 18th October, from the paddocks of John Shannon, and Thomas Williams, Farmers, West Taieri— Two (2) Horses. Ist.: An iron grey mare; about 16 hands high; branded S near shoulder. 2nd.: A black gelding, about fifteen hands high ; switch tail, and white hind feet.
