The* deceased,: who was formerly a member of the Somerset; Light^ Infantry, took a keen interest in all matters 5 ,-: appertaining to music. The decorations were beautiful and the music supplied by Messrs. Harrison, King, and Cater, left tnothing to be .desired. The prizes were . awarded as follows:—Best fancy dress, Miss*; Neilson; best poster, Miss K. Phelps.- Best > fancy dress (men), Mr. Martin; special'prize'-■-Miss Winnie Lafferty.
