I am ten years of age, and my birthday is on the sth of February. I am in the IV Std. We have a white rabbit, with long fur, dark pink eyes, light pink ears, and a funny little tuft of fur for a tail. One day we found a wee rabbit on the beach. We took it home and put it in with the white one. He was so pleased to have company. We taught the wee rabbit to drink milk out of a teaspoon. One day he got* out of the hutch and our big black cat, Sandy, caught him; he jumped through the dining room window and made a meal of poor hunny behind the piano as his skin was found when the room was swept. My eldest brother is fifteen years of age, and is a great help. We are living on a. farm of 137 acres and are milking 64 cows.. There is a great deal of ploughing to do, so sometimes I. go to milk while Dad ploughs. We have a river running through our place and sometimes we go for a bathe twice a day, which we thoroughly enjoy. We have a very nice flower garden but our vegetable garden is not much.
