Addington
(From our own Correspondent.) February 7. With deep regret the death is recorded of Airs. John Guiney, a respected parishioner of Addington, and the sincerest svmnathy is extended to Mr. J. Cniney and little daughter; also to Rev. Father Fay, brother of the deceased lady.R.l.P. A well-attended meeting of Indies was held on last Sunday evening. Rev. Father O'Aleeghan presiding, to form a committee and elect a stallholder from this narish to assist in the'Nazareth House garden fete, which is to be held at the end of March. The following were appointed a committee; Mesdames AI. O’Connell, H. Wilson, W. Hayward, AW Ross, C. Smith, M. Wildermott. AT. O’Leary. Misses Wildermott, Sloan, and Ross. AFiss B. Al. Sloan was appointed stallholder. It was decided to hold a progressive euchre party in the schoolroom every Monday night until the garden fete takes place. Rev. Father O’AFeeghan donated the prizes for the first night. Airs. Hayward very kindlv offered the use of her grounds for the holding of any entertainment which the committee thought most profitable. committee appeals to all parishioners to assist the parish stall in every way possible, and thereby assist the good Sisters in their charitable work of caring for the orphans and the aged.
