Wedding Bells
CORDERLENIHAN. Tlie wedding was solemnised on Tuesday, November 20, at St. Patrick’s Church, Napier, of Mostyn Leslie Corder! third son of Mr. and the late Mrs. J. Corder, Nelson, and Eileen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Lenihan, Napier, and late of Foxton. The Rev. Father Tymons officiated! The “Wedding March” was played by Miss Scott as the bridal party entered and left the church. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired in irory charmeuse, with pearl trimmings. The veil, which was hand-embroidered, was worn with a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white watsonia and 1 1 lies. Miss Katie de Friez (cousin of the bride) wore a frock of palest blue radium silk, with white hat, and Miss Louise de Friez (also cousin of the bride) ivory crepe-de-Chme with radium lace and hat to tone. They carried pink and mauve posies. Mr. Tim Lenihan (brother of the bride) carried out the duties of best man, and Mr. Philip Griffin acted as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s parents, where the wedding breakfast was served and the usual toasts honored. Later Mr. and Mrs. Corder left for Auckland and Rotorua, en route to Wanganui, their future home. The bride travelled in a grey gabardine frock with oriental trimmings, hat and shoes to match. m
