A cable message states that Aonach Tailteann (Irish. Olympic Games) General Council ,of Ireland has decided that the postponed international games shall take place on. August 1 next year, and shall terminate on August 18.‘ The programme includes all the Greek Olympic Games, as well as boxing, handball, rowing, swimming, golf, tennis, billiards, chess, gymnastics, motor cycling, automobile racing, and yachting, with competitions in art, literature and music. There will also be native games, such as hurling, football, rounders and camogie, which is equivalent to ladies’ hockey. There is a revival after 800 years, and it will be confined to persons of Irish birth or descent. One of the large Dublin colleges will be utilised to accommodate the Australian and New Zealand competitors. All sections of the Irish people are taking :up the matter enthusiastically.
