Free State Prisoners
INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS DELEGATION GIVE LIE TO BAD TREATMENT STORY. The International Red Cross Committee at Geneva has communicated the following note to the press: “Thanks to the courtesy of the Government of the \ Irish Free State, a. delegation of the International Red Cross' has been able to visit the Free State internment . camps,-> in which about 12,000 prisoners are concentrated. V The report which the delegation has presented to the In- ! ternational Red Cross Committee shows that so far as the healthy prisoners, as well as the sick and the wounded, is concerned, the sanitary conditions of the camps, the nourishment and lodging are in general very satisfactory.”
