The annual week-end Retreat for men, conducted by the Rev. Father A. T. Herring (Marist Missioner), at St. Patrick’s College, was most successful. It commenced on Friday evening and concluded on Monday morning. The Rev. Director expressed himself as most pleased with the results, and especially with the behavior of the younger men, who comprised the majority of the retreatants. After breakfast on Monday morning the men, through Messrs. J. J. L. Bourke and P. D. Hoskins, returned thanks to Father Herring, and also to Rev.
