. ■ ■ , November 20. To mark the close of the 1922 session, the members of the Catholic Literary Society held a successful and enjoyable smoke concert, in the clubrooms on last Wednesday evening. The president (Mr. L. T. J. Ryan) presided, and a lengthy toast list was , honored, the speakers including Very Rev. Dean O’Donnell,,- the chairman, Messrs. J. Ryan, W. McClymont, L. M. Espagrie, E. J. Paul, Val Cullen, M. J. Burgess, F. Lennon, E. • Fitzgerald, D. McDonnell, Cooper, Nealon, Brophy, W. Bryant and others. A musical and elocutionary programme was contributed to by Messrs. Hutchinson, Nizen, Boyce, McClymont, Burgess, Cullen, and O’Malley.
